To enrich the quality of life for people with diverse needs
and caregivers by providing a safe recreational environment
Step N Up is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides positive social experiences for people with diverse needs through therapeutic recreational activities. We are advocates for those who are often misunderstood, underrepresented or forgotten. Our ultimate goal is to build a recreation center and night club allowing persons with diverse needs the ability to be themselves without social judgement.
We seek to enrich the community by supporting events and organizations that assist under-represented groups including Elizabeth B. Scott Elementary School's Career Night, The Chesterfield Food Bank, VCU's Ultimate Backpack Supply Drive, The Next Move Program's Pioneer Awards and our own Step N Up Backpack Initiative that donated fully stocked backpacks including PPE.
